What’s my background?
I got the bug for early careers when I joined an investment bank as a Graduate Recruitment Coordinator in 2010 – and I haven’t looked back since. I love the idea of supporting people from the start of their career journey and creating an environment in which they can flourish.
I spent four years at Morgan Stanley recruiting into the Investment Banking Division across EMEA, where I learned from the best how to recruit at high volume, with military precision! I moved on to spend another four years at Blackstone, which gave me more scope to design graduate recruitment strategies and early careers development programmes for burgeoning business areas who had never hired at this level before. Moving back to my beloved hometown of Liverpool in 2018, I joined the wonderful Careers and Employability department at the University of Liverpool, where I worked on the employer engagement strategy and project managed the LCR Grad Scheme, a funded project which supports SMEs to recruit and develop talent at the graduate level.
My career has given me an insight into the end-to-end early careers process – everything from successful university partnerships and attraction; to diversity programmes and programme management. Having managed recruitment across EMEA for US-owned companies, I have gained valuable experience of the complexities of recruiting on a pan-European and global level, which I weirdly love and could talk about all day!
What do I do at Gradconsult?
I joined Gradconsult in March 2023 as a Senior Consultant working on the Employer side of the business. My remit will be working with our employer clients to support them with projects such as:
- Building graduate recruitment and development strategies from scratch
- Enhancing attraction processes
- Delivering workshops to graduates and interns as part of their development programmes
- Reviewing and redesigning elements of the recruitment process, such as assessment centres

Life loves
My family. I’m grateful every day for my gorgeous kids, husband, big Scouse family and the best friends who have I have known forever.
Liverpool. The city, the culture, the people. I’ve spent months and years living in other cities and countries, but there’s never been any doubt in mind that I would come back to Liverpool; it will always be home.
Exercise. Spinning, walking, strength training – I’ll try anything. I have to move, it keeps me balanced!
Pet peeves
People who don’t remove an empty toilet roll. Takes two seconds, just do it!
Tea slurping and loud chewing.
