I have quite a diverse range of experience across sectors. Prior to Gradconsult, I was part of the Senior Leadership team for Twinkl - a rapid growth digital business. Here I led on all aspects of organisational culture, leadership development and strategic engagement. Prior to this, I was CEO of a young people’s charity in Bradford.
I am also currently Chair of trustees of award-winning Anti-human trafficking charity The Snowdrop Project and an active council member for the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.
I have direct experience in Education, digital, governance and the third sector. I am a qualified coach and experienced in change management and organisational development.
What do I do at Gradconsult?
I have only joined the fantastic Gradconsult in July 2021 but my work is focused on supporting employers in all aspects of development. This ranges from developing leaders, ways of working, coaching support, bespoke workshops and early careers strategy. I am incredibly passionate about seeing cultures and workplaces thrive, centred on people and unlocking potential.
Life loves
- The outdoors and playing and watching sport. My happy place is on my bike or running in the Peak district
- Eating out with friends – I love food and exploring new places to go and discover
- Physical challenges – I always sign up for some mountain marathon or convince my kids to join in on something adventurous (my son cycled coast to coast with me aged 7!)
Pet peeves
- People littering - more specifically, not cleaning up their dogs’ mess
- Bureaucracy that prevents things from getting done
- Kids wanting to be on devices/screens all the time!
