Germany Early Careers Group (GECG)
A community of employers, universities and suppliers working in the early career sector in Germany. We come together to share, connect, innovate, learn, collaborate and benchmark. We aim to improve the sector for the benefit of all.
Gradconsult have been working in Germany since 2019. By late 2021 we recognised the need for some form of community and better data about the early careers sector in the country. That is when we founded the GECG with our first meeting taking place in February 2022.
The Germany Early Careers Group (GECG) was founded in order to foster collaboration and share best practice between universities and employers within Germany, to enable all to have a greater understanding of the German careers sector.
The group meets in-person and online twice a year to discuss challenges, learnings, and opportunities for collaboration. With over 200 individual members, the GECG has facilitated collaboration and knowledge-sharing between members.
The community encourages the sharing of best practice, case studies and insights through both our LinkedIn group, and within our in-person events – workshops and case study examples are the focus of these sessions, along with networking.
